    Strong within

    Captured moment in time

    Artist felt his pain

    Felt his gain

    One ponders which was greater

    Trust and pain

    Loss and gain

    Admirable painting found on the wall

    Hanging in a grasping manner

    After dining

    His face reminds one

    Times come and go

    Everything is constantly changing

    But is it really?

    Seems simplicity has become complexity

    Without productive reason

    Greed a nasty thing

    Cruelty is a boomerang

    Look into his eyes deep

    See the past

    Or present

    Oil on Canvas located in a Florida Restaurant...stared at it for such a long time...

    "Her Light of Memory Remains"

    Sand Island Lighthouse at the mouth of the Mobile Bay

    Remains, once again...

    Her foundation nearly vanished,

    Lens of light no more,

    Yet...

    Setting Suns peek through her

    Dancing lights from her bricks

    Memories of more than a century

    She stood tall in many storms.

    Some natural...some mankind...

    She remains one more time.

    HEART CHAMBERS

    Many chambers hold seperate love

    Each seep from past scars

    Others grow stronger

    Healing the weeping chambers of a heart;

    How many loves can one heart hold?

    Some new...some old...

    Old loves fade with time

    Chambers are closed within the mind

    Yet, the seeping of some

    Never seem to heal

    Open wounds the mind does feel

    New chambers hold the key

    Let go of the old

    So the mind can see

    Healing the wounds of a heart

    Sealing the drip of memory

    The heart and mind are one within

    All have scars that creep in from time to time

    Take the mind, clear and purge the chambers

    Holding dear only the True love;

    Those chambers are strong enough

    To heal the wounds of a heart.

    It can love so many

    A piece here and there

    Then deep within the soul

    The mind flows with the heart

    Gently flow forward in the mind

    Chambers in a heart will heal in time.

    "One of those Kind of Days" ldbg*

     

    Where Time stood still without notice

    Wisp of the wind carrying countless voices

    Song of the gulls give reality of above

    Light of a structure guiding many has faded

    Lost in history of nobody paying attention

    One of those kind of Days...

    Words without meaning do the lips say?

    Tension released on this particular day

    Old Fashioned Southern Lady Style...

    She sits looking above for answers beyond

    Toes in the sand giving root to root...

    Gazing upon a structure of old and fond memories

    Knowing it too shall change with history...

    One more major storm visiting the mouth of the bay

    She will fall into the channel of ships on their way

    Final resting place will be...

    At the bottom of the mouth of a bay she oversees...

    One of those kind of Days...

    Looking at what was

    What Is

    What is yet to be...

    Thinking and listening to the roll of a tide

    Gulls in laughter at the beach-side !

    Not a human around to make a sound

    Voices are of nature around...

    Serenity has been found

    One of those kind of Days.
